The aim of the EUniWell Science-to-Public Communication workshop is to up-skill researchers in popularisation of science, from PhD students to senior researchers, whatever the research domain and coming from all EUniWell universities: Birmingham, Cologne, Florence, Inalco, Kyiv, Konstanz, Linnaeus, Murcia, Nantes, Santiago de Compostela and Semmelweis. All the programme is online to facilitate the participation of everyone. The programme allows researchers to select their preferred modules:
- Introductory session to public and community engagement
- Create a podcast or a vlog
- Speech writing in practice to the general public
- Interactions between science and societies - an introduction to why and how engage in science communication activities
Each researcher can apply to one or several sessions, depending of the needs and the interest. First come-first served will not always be possible, in order to include representatives of the different universities as much as possible, and mix different profiles of researchers as well.
Thank you for your interest in our training offer. Please note that some workshops have a limited number of spots. Each university has an equal number of seats and applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If registrations exceed capacity, a waiting list may be implemented. In any case, you will be informed whether you are on the main list or on the waiting list.
Please keep in mind the time and effort invested in planning and conducting these sessions. As there may be colleagues on a waiting list wishing to attend, if you are unable to participate, please notify the team well in advance. This will allow us to efficiently reallocate your spot.
